About the Senior Project
At the end of our Senior Year, the students get a week to learn and present a new skill. While I had some knowledge in lighting, I really didn't know how to go about designing a plot and programming anything more then static cues. So, during that week I worked 12+ hours a day to design a plot, hang and circuit the plot, then learn how to program on the ETC Ion. The presentation consisted of 167 cues that were triggered by OSC sent from QLab to align the cues precisely with the music. The project starts off somewhat static, but there was a huge learning curve going into it and eventually something clicked and the fun truly began! Attached below is my light plot, the final presentation, the ETC Ion file, and the QLab file.
